Who we are
St James Clerkenwell strives to be a church where everyone feels welcome and valued whether they are used to going to church or not. Our aim is to be a Christian community in the heart of London which connects people to God by exploring the clear and relevant teaching of Jesus Christ. Our services combine a contemporary style with theological depth.
   
Like the best shops in town, it's okay to be 'just looking' but we also know that the way to get the most out of church is to join a group where you can discuss with others what you're learning on Sundays, ask your questions and apply Christian faith to your daily life. There are groups for people investigating Christian faith as well as groups for people who have been Christians a while.
The church reflects the amazing variety of people who live in central London — we aim to be a family where everyone matters and is invited to be a part of our community. On this website, you can find out information about things like upcoming events and getting married at the church, as well as listen to bible talks from Sundays or subscribe to our podcast.
