The Big Picnic
Saturday 16 September | 12.30pm
A classic picnic lunch for all with barbecue provided by the Scouts and village fête games. If you are able to, please bring a side dish to share (savoury or dessert) to supplement the barbecue.
The Clerkenwell History Experience
Saturday 16 September | 2.00pm
Interested in the history of Saint James Clerkenwell and the surrounding area? Join us for a talk and walking tour with Nicholas Riddell, author of ‘A History of the Church of Saint James Clerkenwell’.
Spanning centuries of important change, get in-depth knowledge of Clerkenwell ranging from the 12th Century Nunnery to the fashionable and industrialised parish that keeps changing up to the present day. Starting in the church at 2pm, the talk will be followed by a walking tour around Clerkenwell and ends with tea and cake at a local café.
Saturday 17 September | 11:00am
A celebration service looking back at the past twenty years and looking forward to the next twenty. The JC reunion band will help us sing songs old and new. There will be lots of sharing happy memories with guest interviews, video clips and a Bible talk by Andrew Baughen.
