Children

At St James there is something for everyone.... from the tiniest baby, to the smartest Brownie or Cub, and even something for those who can't sit still through the sermon on a Sunday morning!

Most of these activities take place in the modern Crypt and Youth room under the church. Please contact the church office for more information.

Note: some events may not run during holiday periods.

JCKC

St James Clerkenwell Kid's Club

A separate time of teaching and fun activities for children aged 3-11 during the Sunday morning service. The children learn about the bible in a fun setting, including songs, games, and craft.

After the first half of the service the children go out, joining the service again later for the final songs and sometimes to give a presentation of what they've been learning.

Uniformed Organisations

The children also meet during the week as part of the Uniformed Organisations based at St James: 3rd Clerkenwell Brownies & Guides and 1st Islington Scouts.

2 by 2 Club

Who?.......Babies, toddlers and those looking after them
What?......A structured time of craft, play and song.
Where?.....St James Crypt, Clerkenwell Close
When?......Term time Thursdays 10:30-12:00am
Cost?......£1.50 per session (1 adult & 1 child)
an additional 50p per extra child

JC Youth (JCY)

A time of food, Bible study and fun for 11-16 year olds (school years 7-11) during the second half of the Sunday morning service.
