Podcast

You don't need to have an iPod to subscribe to podcasts if you just want to listen through your computer.

To subscribe you will need a podcast reader (podcatcher) on your computer. There are many readers available for free. iTunes is recommended for this podcast, and you'll need version 4.9 or above.

The steps for subscribing to this podcast will vary depending on which reader you have. Please use one of the following options:

  • Subscribing via iTunes. Please click here: Subscribe to podcast in iTunes
(You can also go into iTunes and search via the Podcast Directory. Category: Religion & Spirituality > Christianity, or Keyword Search: St James Clerkenwell)
  • Draging this button into iTunes or your Reader: Podcast MP3
  • Or cutting and pasting the URL of the RSS feed into your Reader:
    http://www.jc-church.org/jcpodcast.xml

Your podcast reader may have preference settings you want to adjust. For example, how often the reader checks for new episodes, and how episodes are retained. In iTunes these can be found under Edit > Preferences > Podcasts

Podcast readers fall into two categories:
Software based eg: iTunes, Doppler Radio, Juice, Nimiq.
Web based eg: Newsgator, PodNova.
